“I captured this image during a spring workshop with Joe Rossbach and Kurt Budliger,” explains Morrissette. “As a photographer, I dream of sunsets like this one, where it looks like the atmosphere catches fire. There’s a nervousness and anxiety when setting up on an evening like this one. Are you going to be able to capture something that even hints at the splendor you‘re witnessing?”
