11 Gorgeous Cricut Access Projects To Do When You’re Stuck Inside

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.

2020 is a year to go down in infamy. With a worldwide quarantine urging us indoors, many of us have had two options: get bored or get creative.

The latter is definitely more fun, and more rewarding and if you have a Cricut machine, the creative possibilities are endless. Even better, Cricut Access makes all projects in Cricut Design Space incredibly easy. Here are nearly a dozen ways to use Cricut Access to flex your creativity without putting forth too much time or effort. These are great little projects to do when you’re going to be indoors.

11 Gorgeous Cricut Access Projects To Do When You’re Stuck Inside

If you’re new to Cricut cutting machines, here are some basics you need to know. I’ve got a Cricut Explore Air 2 and have been very impressed with it’s cutting capabilities. So far, I’ve used it to make custom t-shirts, personalized water bottles, and so much more.

If you’re like me and like to get creative, but often lack the ideas from scratch, you’ll love Cricut Access. What is Cricut Access? It’s a HUGE library of over 500 fonts, 120,000 images, and ready-to-make projects that you literally select and go.

In short, Cricut Access is amazing and a MUST for your Cricut-creating. It has saved me hours and hours because I’m not a designer and I don’t have the time to create my own designs or scour the web for SVG files. You can pay either a monthly or yearly subscription and have access to an entire library of designs. 100% worth it in my opinion!

Here are some gorgeous examples of fun projects you’ll find in the Cricut Access library:

1. Custom Jar Labels

Whether giving goodies as gifts, bottling your own homemade salsa, or selling your concoctions, Cricut Access has ready-to-go labels that make any jar couture.

2. Liven up Boring Walls

There’s no need to shop online for expensive wall vinyl…your Cricut Maker can do that! And check out the Cricut Access projects, like this intergalactic and easy vinyl decor wall.

3. Foil Veneer Earrings

When I first got my Cricut Explore, I wanted to make earrings. I was amazed out how easy and precise it was. Give these foil veneer earrings a try!

4. Custom Water Bottles

Kids of all ages love these…and they make great gifts too! There are so many fun custom water bottle projects in Cricut Access…ideas I could never come up with on my own.

5. Happy Succulent Planters

There are so many ways to decorate with succulents. They’re a plant you practically can’t kill even if you try. While you’re stuck inside, spruce up your space with some happy succulent planters like this one.

6. Decked Out Backpack

This is a fun project for kids and teens and there are lots of iron-on designs in Cricut Access that make this inside craft super easy.

7. Impressive Family Established Sign

Super easy, super impressive. What a great home decor piece for a fraction of the cost that you’d pay anywhere else.

8. Smiley Pillows

Turn any throw pillows in your house into smiley ones with this easy-peasy Cricut Access design.

9. Creative Cards

If there’s one thing that has lifted my spirits during this difficult quarantine time, it’s the cards and notes left on my doorstep from friends and family. But don’t stress about going out and buying the perfect card when you can easily make one. Cricut Access has dozens and dozens of them for you.

10. Graphic Tees

My personal favorite thing to do with my Cricut machine is make my own graphic tees. And if you want to save the headache of designing your own, just use the already made designs in Cricut Access.

11. DIY Face Mask

It’s definitely an appropriate project for the time and if you’re going to be wearing a face mask for germ purposes, it might as well be a cute one.

All the above projects and more can be found in the Cricut Access library. If you’ve got a Cricut machine, Cricut Access is a no-brainer. You can subscribe to it monthly or yearly.

And for the month of April, they’ve got some cool promos going on:

  • Cricut Access subscribers get free shipping on all orders through April 30th.  Non-subscribers get free shipping with orders $99+ with code APRSHIP.

  • Cricut Access subscribers get a free Cricut Cutie when they purchase $100+ of materials, while supplies last, after discounts, excluding bulk.  Cutie colors may vary.

So for newbies…your Cricut machine automatically comes with Cricut Design Space (where you’ll create and execute all your projects from your computer). For a small monthly fee, you can get Cricut Access, which saves you the headache of creating designs yourself and provides premium fonts and designs all ready for you.
